Cognitive dissonance
is a photographic series exploring migration, inequality, girlhood, and more.
These photographs were all taken in Albania and New York City, two places I consider home -- the first the place of my birth, the latter, where I grew up.
My project seeks to illuminate inequalities, while also critiquing the hyper-capitalist expansion of the modern world. Each chapter is a vignette, a fragmented story symbolizing the complexity of these issues and their consequences.
